Estephano Wednesday

I looked forward to the beach all week. The day was great. The ride to Newport took a while but it was a chance to take and get a couple of minutes of more sleep. We finally arrived at the aquarium around 10. It was not a new experience, but it was okay to remember old times from there.  After the aquarium we headed to eat at a close park and enjoy some food.  Hatfield Center was the next stop and enjoy some workshops.  First we did a workshop with crabs. I learned a couple of things like what crabs did when they were picked up from one leg only or what a molt was.  The other workshop was about tides and different types of sand there is .Finally we headed to the beach, Devils punch-bowl to be exact. It was a good experience, but there was no way that I was going to enter the cold water.  We played some soccer and capture the flag. The day was slowly ending and it was time to head for dinner, Figaro’s Pizza.
After that it was time head back home but this time we bumped the music to stay awake and enjoy the road back ( well a few just slept the way back, including me).  “Today was a good day.” – Ice Cube

Estephano, Tuesday Working hard, sort of.

My day started by waking up, feeling like doing nothing and being tired. I was doing everything so slow, and thinking about the day ahead of me made me want to go back to bed already once more.  I knew this was laziness so  we headed to the track to run another mile. After the mile I was up and ready for the day. Just like the other days we met with our facilitators and did our daily routines with activities.  My favorite thing towards the ending was the egg drop, but what finished it of with a good ending was the dodge ball and basketball

Estephano Monday

I think everyone was excited for the high ropes along with the other activities that some of the OSU staff had awaiting for us. The morning started out with a good mile run, which got me very tired since I pack up with the tacos and not the salads or gym. Finally, after a couple hours with our facilitators and our daily activities we headed to the challenge course. Entering the field where the high ropes were located, I started with excitement then towards the moment when we started putting our gear on and I felt like not moving forward with the rest. I then remembered what our facilitators said to us, which was that sometimes you have to get out of your comfort zone and take a risk or you will probably regret not doing something you wanted.

The moment came and I had put my gear on and was
already in line waiting to test out the high ropes. It was
no time to say no because I was already heading up the
ladder. Heading up the ladder towards the first high
rope with the log was the first thing I had to try,
it looked the safest but it wasn't.

Estephano Sunday July 31st Intro

I am a chill guy but you have to know me.
Not that much of a talker but like I said you have to know me....
I'm very into style with the new kicks and yes you have to
have some nice original 501 LEVIS to rock them out,
ooh and some original white NIKE AIRFORCE.
It's all about the hi-tops.

There is nothing much to say other than you have to get to know me to know me!
There is one more thing, I'm into computers, operating systems, and mobile tweaks/hacking. JAILBREAKING... The easy stuff along with mods if you know what I'm talking about

Estephano Sunday The first day at OSU with the OMLI.

I had a long day with a lot of walking, but having fun while playing Toro toro, and kickball. These games gave the day a good ending. In the beginning, meeting new people felt lame but as the day progressed it got to be more easier and more comfortable. At the end of the day I did meet a couple of more people. I hope I get to at least make a couple more friends and for the week to be a good one.

Meeting Rome- Facilitator
smirking

This is the facilitators along with the whole group from Forest Grove and Woodburn High School. The OSU campus was alright, but not what I expected. There was very long walks to different buildings, a exhausting thing. All I can say is that it was a good day with never ending walking and with the food soon to be the same almost every day. Other than that this place is chill with chill people.
